The Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project (VEEP) continued its support for agricultural recovery with the official handover of two newly constructed small ruminant pens at the Rabacca Livestock Breeding and Multiplication Centre in September 2024.

On Thursday, 30 April 2026, the Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project (VEEP) officially handed over a state-of-the-art climate-controlled greenhouse to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Transformation during a ceremony held at the Agricultural Biotechnology Centre in Orange Hill.
Some 3,700 families in the Volcano Red and Orange Zones will receive an average of $3,000 each over the duration of the project, under the five-year US$44 million Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project (VEEP).
