Welcome to the official website of the Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project (VEEP). This website is designed to provide to the public,  reliable and pertinent information relating to the project  during its implementation to promote accountability and transparency on behalf of the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (GoSVG). 

The VEEP project supports the GoSVG in its emergency recovery and restoration of services in areas affected by the La Soufriere Volcano eruptions. The project was approved by the World Bank's Board on November 30, 2021 and became effective on December 10, 2021 with an expected closing date on December 30, 2026. The project is funded through an IDA credit of US$ 40 million and co-financed with an EU grant of US$ 2 million.
